CLEAR PROMISES · HONEST STAGE

Website & Sale Terms

These terms cover use of KYREC.au and any future offer, reservation or purchase made directly through this website.

LAST UPDATED · 8 AUGUST 2026

Important: KYREC is an early-stage project. Product concepts, app screens, features, release timing and compatibility may change during design, testing and certification.

1. Using KYREC.au

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you make a future purchase or reservation, you also agree to the offer details shown at checkout and the linked Refunds & Cancellations Policy and Delivery & Reservations Policy.

You must use the website lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt, damage, copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the website or its services.

2. Who may purchase

A purchase or reservation must be made by a person aged 18 or over who has authority to use the payment method and provide the information submitted at checkout.

3. Early-stage product information

KYREC.au presents a family-technology vision in active development. Unless a page clearly says otherwise, product images are concept visuals, features are planned rather than guaranteed, and dates are estimates. Nothing on the website is a promise that a particular product, integration, certification or release date will be achieved.

KYREC will not describe a concept as a finished product or activate a paid offer without clearly explaining what the customer receives at that stage.

4. Prices, orders and Square payments

  • Prices are in Australian dollars unless the checkout states otherwise.
  • The final amount, any taxes, delivery charges and the item or entitlement must be shown before payment.
  • Payments may be processed securely by Square and are also subject to Square's applicable buyer terms and privacy notice.
  • An order is accepted when KYREC issues confirmation, not merely when a button is pressed.
  • KYREC may decline or cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, technical failure or unavailable offer. Any captured payment for a cancelled order will be refunded.

5. Hardware reservations

A payment clearly labelled as a “reservation” is not a purchase of the finished hardware, is not a delivery charge and does not guarantee a production date. It records interest and may establish priority for a later offer. KYREC will not automatically charge the remaining product price without the customer's separate approval.

If an A$20 Nova Rover reservation is activated, it will be fully refundable before it is voluntarily converted into a later product order. Full details are set out in the Delivery & Reservations Policy.

6. Digital products and access

Where KYREC sells digital learning material or access, the checkout will identify what is included, how access is delivered and whether any additional platform terms apply. Digital content is licensed for the customer's personal use and must not be copied, resold, republished or shared beyond the permission stated in the offer.

7. Family, AI and safety information

Ask KYREC provides general information about KYREC from a limited approved knowledge set. AI-generated answers may be incomplete or mistaken and should be checked against the relevant KYREC page or confirmed through hello@kyrec.au before being relied upon.

KYREC website content, Ask KYREC and future AI features are not a substitute for emergency services, professional medical care, mental health care, legal advice, financial advice or responsible adult supervision. Product and safety claims will depend on real testing, permissions, connectivity and supported services. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

8. Privacy and private family content

PRIVATE FAMILY STORIES ARE NOT FOR SALE.

KYREC does not and will not sell, rent, barter or trade personal information or private family content for money, advertising access or another commercial benefit.

“Private family content” means non-public conversations, messages, audio, images, location information, routines, safety events, check-ins, wellbeing inputs and patterns or inferences connected to them. Using a KYREC service does not give KYREC a right to turn those private parts of family life into advertising profiles, data-broker products or unrelated commercial content.

A future enabled feature may process the information needed to respond and may create a limited, purpose-specific pattern summary or structured event to deliver or improve that feature. That processing must follow the applicable privacy notice, permissions, controls and retention rules. It is not permission to build or sell a private family-story archive.

KYREC may provide the minimum information reasonably necessary to contracted service providers solely to operate, secure or support the service, and may disclose information where directed by the user or required by law. These limited disclosures do not give a provider permission to sell the information or use it for independent advertising, profiling or unrelated purposes.

9. KYREC Intelligence email subscriptions

By submitting an email address, selecting one or more KYREC Intelligence reports and confirming the consent box, you expressly consent to receiving the selected reports from KYREC Pty Ltd by email. KYREC records the email address, selected report categories, signup source, consent wording version and consent time to manage the subscription and demonstrate consent.

Each selected report is normally delivered approximately once per calendar month. Selecting one report means approximately one report email per month. Selecting all four means up to four report emails per calendar month. Your subscription begins immediately when the form is submitted successfully; no separate confirmation email is required.

You may change your report preferences, unsubscribe from one report while keeping others, or unsubscribe from all KYREC marketing emails using the preference or unsubscribe facility in an email. KYREC will action unsubscribe requests as soon as practicable and no later than five business days after receiving the request. Unsubscribing is free and does not require an account.

KYREC will not materially increase the stated frequency or add unrelated marketing categories without clearly notifying subscribers and obtaining any further consent required by law. KYREC manages commercial email communications in accordance with the Spam Act 2003, including consent, sender identification and functional unsubscribe requirements.

10. Intellectual property

The KYREC name, characters, artwork, copy, product concepts, logos and website design are owned by or licensed to KYREC. Viewing the website does not transfer any intellectual property rights or grant permission to use the material commercially.

11. Third-party services and links

The website may link to Square, app stores, maps, music services, social platforms or other third parties. Those services operate under their own availability, terms and privacy policies. A planned integration is not a statement that a third party sponsors or endorses KYREC.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. More information is available from the ACCC.

To the extent permitted by law, KYREC is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by using an early-stage concept page or an unavailable third-party service, or by using an offer outside the purpose and limits clearly described for it.

13. Changes, governing law and contact

Website information and these terms may be updated as the project develops. The terms accepted for a completed transaction will not be changed retrospectively to remove a customer's rights. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws.
