The tradie
My starting point is practical work: plaster, dust, deadlines and solving the problem in front of me.
BEHIND KYREC
KYREC did not begin in a boardroom. It began after work, with a family to look after, an idea I could not let go of and a belief that technology should help people feel closer—not further apart.
WHERE IT STARTED
Most days, I'm a plasterer. I work with my hands, solve practical problems and come home carrying the same responsibilities as every other parent: family, bills, time and the hope of building a better future.
After work, I began learning about AI and software. I was not a programmer, and I did not pretend to be one. I simply kept asking questions, testing ideas and learning from what broke.
The more I learned, the clearer the opportunity became: technology could be designed around the family—not just the individual screen. That idea became KYREC.

FROM TRADE TO TECH
I am carrying the habits of the trade into technology: understand the job, prepare properly, build carefully, test the result and improve what is not right.
My starting point is practical work: plaster, dust, deadlines and solving the problem in front of me.
Family is the reason. I wanted technology to give people more support and more time together—not more noise.
I started learning AI and app building after work, one question, one mistake and one small win at a time.
KYREC is the mission that grew from that learning: useful family technology built carefully and honestly.
WHY KYREC EXISTS
The goal is not more technology for its own sake. The goal is useful support that respects the people using it and creates more room for real family life.
Technology should help people talk, understand one another and be present in real life. It should never compete with the family it is meant to support.
AI can offer prompts, reminders and useful context. Parents, carers, professionals and real human judgment stay in charge.
Privacy, consent, clear limits and honest progress matter. We will say what is working, what is still being tested and what comes next.
THE HONEST VERSION
KYREC is early-stage. We are building, testing and learning. The vision is ambitious, but every public promise should match what genuinely exists today.
THE MISSION CONTINUES
That is why I started. That is why I keep showing up.
